    VANCOUVER,  December 20, 2016—Conexus Credit Union has become the first credit union in Canada to offer its mobile banking users an Apple Watch® app using the award-winning mobile app developed by Central 1 Credit Union (Central 1).

    The Apple Watch app provides iOS users with a more convenient and engaging banking experience. It provides greater choice and flexibility on how they manage their money while on the move.

    Wascana Centre Authority (WCA) announced today that it has given the green light to the University of Regina and Conexus Credit Union to move into a design phase for the new building proposed at the University’s College Avenue campus (CAC).

    “We are excited to have such a community-oriented partner in Conexus to help us renew the College Avenue campus for the thousands of children, adults and seniors who benefit from its programming each year,” said Dr. Vianne Timmons, President and Vice-Chancellor of the University of Regina. “Today’s announcement is another step toward delivering on our promise to revitalize our historic campus by enhancing educational programming, preserving heritage properties, and promoting arts and culture.”

    November 22, 2016 - Canada has achieved an important milestone in its commitment to social financing for public good. The Government of Canada, private investors, and colleges and institutes are pushing the boundaries of social innovation and impact investing by implementing the first social finance project of its kind in Canada.

    As the key project intermediary, Colleges and Institutes Canada (CICan) is leveraging the principles of social finance through social impact bonds (SIB) to raise upfront capital from private investors who are looking to support societal good while receiving a financial return.

    With capital raised from three investors – Conexus Credit Union, the Catherine Donnelly Foundation, and Dave and Pamela Richardson and Family, the Essential Skills Social Finance (ESSF) project is now moving forward with the delivery of essential-skills training to improve the skills levels of unemployed adult Canadians.

    TORONTO, ON (August 25, 2016): The Canadian Credit Union Association (CCUA) is pleased to announce that Canadians have ranked credit unions first in overall Customer Service Excellence and Branch Service Excellence for the 12th consecutive year – among all financial institutions, according to the annual 2016 Ipsos® Best Banking Awards program.

    Credit unions were also awarded sole honours for Values My Business and Live Agent Telephone Banking Excellence.

    REGINA, SK – Conexus Credit Union has sold its subsidiary, Conexus Insurance, to Regina-based Knight Archer Insurance. Under the deal, which closes September 5, Knight Archer will acquire all seven of Conexus Insurance’s service locations and a mixed portfolio of personal, commercial and agricultural insurance policies.

    The University announced a proposed new partnership today with Conexus Credit Union that may contribute up to $8.25 million to the College Avenue Campus Renewal Project as well as result in millions of dollars in cost avoidance for revitalizing the University’s historic campus.

    Regina, May 5, 2016 – The Canadian Red Cross and Saskatchewan credit unions today announced that, effective immediately, cash donations to help families and individuals affected by the Fort McMurray Alberta wildfire will be accepted at participating Saskatchewan credit unions until June 5, 2016.

    Membership growth and financial strength were some of the highlights of 2015 that were announced at Conexus Credit Union’s Annual General Meeting on Tuesday, April 19. Conexus attracted nearly 2,100 new members and recently surpassed 120,000 members in Saskatchewan. Meanwhile, total funds under management ended 2015 at $7.14 billion, achieving a total growth of 8.68%.
