New MasterCard solutions coming in 2018

Our credit card conversion is complete!

We're currently experiencing longer than usual wait times due to the volume of members calling in to activate their new credit cards. With recent enhancements our new credit cards can now be activated via MyCardInfo. This is a great way for you to skip any activation wait times!

Here’s how: visit www.conexus.ca/mycardinfo and register for an account. After registering a pop-up window will appear saying "A new card has been issued on your account. Do you have the card in your possession and wish to activate it?" You should say yes and can go through the prompts to activate your card. Note that you may have to log out of MyCardInfo and log back in to get the pop-up to activate your card.
 
If you've activated your card and want to change your PIN, you can call PIN NOW at 1-844-788-2725. If you receive a PIN in the mail after you’ve already set your PIN, you can discard the one you received in the mail. Thank you for your patience while we work to help our members as quickly as possible.

You should now have your new Conexus Mastercard®, and it’s ready for activation. If you haven’t already activated, please do so by calling the activation number on the sticker attached to your new card. Once your new card is activated, please complete the following steps.

Key things to do:

▢ Visit conexus.ca/mycardinfo to set up an account for access to your statements online, real-time account information, and to manage your account.

▢ While in MyCardInfo, enroll in eStatements to easily access your monthly statements online and eliminate paper statements.

▢ Your new card has a new card number, expiry date and CVV. You’ll need to update any existing pre-authorized payments and any businesses who keep your card number on file (e.g. drycleaners, Amazon).

▢ If you currently have automatic payments set up to pay your credit card each month, please note that this feature is not yet available for our new cards. We’ll let you know once it’s available.

▢ When making a payment to your credit card, please ensure you update your new credit card number within your list of bill payees in online banking and/or telephone banking as applicable.

And don’t forget to cut up your old credit card, as it no longer works!

Rewards points Expand/Collapse

  • Remember, if you're currently enrolled in a rewards points program, you will not lose any points in this conversion. Any unused points will be transferred to your new card.

    • If you have a Student Mastercard, your new card does not have a points program. Any unredeemed points as of May 18, 2018 will be paid out to you as a statement credit on a future credit card statement.

  • Our new rewards program is called Conexus Rewards, and you can check it out online at www.conexusrewards.ca.
  • Please note that the ability to redeem your rewards points as cash into your Conexus chequing or savings account will be available mind-June.

Travelling Expand/Collapse

  • Are you travelling during the May 18 conversion weekend? If you’ll be travelling and require the use of your Conexus credit card, please ensure you take your new card with you to activate on or after May 19, 2018. If you’re going to be away for a longer period of time, please call us at 1-800-667-7477 to discuss your options.
