Community programs.
Supporting our communities is a large part of who we are. As a member-owned co-operative, we’re committed to helping Saskatchewan thrive by investing in the people, organizations and initiatives that make a lasting difference.
We support community investment in several ways:
- Community Investment: creating positive social impact through long-term partnerships with community groups.
- Community Vitality Fund: one-time grants for grassroot projects from not-for-profit organizations or community leaders.
Each year, we reinvest up to 5% of our pre-tax income back into the community through our Community Investment Program and Community Vitality Fund.
- Sponsorship Program: supporting external organizations, events and initiatives through financial or in-kind contributions and improving brand visibility and engagement while aligning with our purpose and business objectives.
Community Investment.
This program is focused on creating positive social impact and building communities across the province, and is guided by two pillars:
Children and youth.
Helping children and youth reach their potential by addressing barriers to growth, such as poverty, inadequate housing, mental health issues and poor literacy.
Entrepreneurs.
Promoting entrepreneurship and the growth of new businesses, helping Saskatchewan people create value for their families and their communities.
We know that as much as our community partners value our support, it’s even better when we can make a multi-year commitment which offers the stability they need to plan for the future. As we have evolved our Community Investment program, we have focused on seeking out partners who align with our values and priorities to create long-term partnerships. With this approach, we no longer have an open application process for community investment funding.

Community Vitality Fund.
While much of our funding goes to our large partnerships, we know local, grassroots projects matter too. That's why we created the Community Vitality Fund, a category of community investment introduced in 2025. Each year, this $570,000 fund supports small projects and initiatives across Saskatchewan that support the quality of life in our communities. Our local Conexus leaders choose initiatives that improve a community facility or program, providing one-time grants of up to $10,000.
Event and Organizational Sponsorship Program.
Our Sponsorship Program creates meaningful partnerships with organizations across the province, strategically enhancing brand visibility and engagement while aligning with our purpose and business objectives. Our Event and Organizational Sponsorship Program is built on three core pillars that strengthen our local communities:
Sports.
We back sports from grassroots leagues to pro teams like the Saskatchewan Roughriders. Sports unite people, promote healthy living and build leadership and teamwork skills across communities.
Arts and music.
We proudly support arts and music organizations that bring creativity and culture to Saskatchewan. From festivals and theatres to education, they spark connection, self-expression and vibrancy.
Entrepreneurship.
Entrepreneurs power a thriving economy. We champion them through development programs, innovation hubs like Cultivator powered by Conexus and events such as workshops and business awards.
