Startups with an impressive array of ideas are solving the problems farmers face

[Regina, SK, March 17, 2026] - 15 agtech companies from Canada and the UK are ready to accelerate their startups and scale solutions for agriculture globally.

Cultivator powered by Conexus announced Cohort 5 of the AGTECH ACCELERATOR at a “Canadian Agtech Founder Pitch Event” before the World Agri-Tech Innovation Summit in San Francisco.

Kicking off in April, the AGTECH ACCELERATOR brings agriculture and technology together to accelerate the growth of Canadian and UK agtech startups solving global problems. Built with farmers and founders as the foundation, Cohort 5 will participate in a three-month intensive program featuring virtual and in-person components, including a finale at western Canada’s largest outdoor farm expo, Ag in Motion. Learn more about the AGTECH ACCELERATOR here.

Cultivator’s Director Laura Mock highlights Cultivator’s role in a broader ecosystem.

“Cultivator is part of a much larger national and global ecosystem, and our focus is accelerating the path to commercialization,” explains Mock. “We work closely with industry partners, farmers, academia and government to help innovators move their technologies from development to real-world adoption.”

“Canada plays a vital role in global agriculture and is uniquely positioned to help innovators prove technologies that can help feed the world more sustainably, which is why we have seen so much success through the AGTECH ACCELERATOR.”
