Conexus Rider Rally Rules

The Rider Rally Giveaway (“the Giveaway”) sponsored by Conexus Credit Union (“Conexus”) is intended to be conducted in Saskatchewan only and shall be construed according to Saskatchewan law. Entry into this giveaway constitutes acceptance of these Giveaway Rules (the “Giveaway Rules”).

1. ELIGIBILITY

The Giveaway is open to all that are Canadian residents and ordinarily reside in Saskatchewan.

There is no purchase necessary to enter the Giveaway.

There may be only one entry per individual.

Those aged 18+ are eligible to participate.

Employees, directors and officials of Conexus and its subsidiaries and their immediate families or individuals with whom they are domiciled are not eligible to participate in the Giveaway.

Conexus shall have the right at any time to require proof of identity and/or eligibility to participate in the Giveaway. Failure to provide such proof may result in disqualification.

In addition, Conexus reserves the sole right to disqualify any individual from the Giveaway, and to ban from any future Conexus giveaway, any individual who Conexus finds to have:

• Violated the Giveaway Rules

• tampered or attempted to tamper with the Giveaway entry process or the operation of the Giveaway or the Conexus website

• violated the internet security or other online policies of the Conexus website

• supplied untruthful, incomplete, inaccurate or misleading personal details or information in their Giveaway entry.

All entrants consent to Conexus and its agents to use, print, publish, broadcast, distribute and otherwise use or re-use the selected entrant’s name, photo and city/town of residence for advertising or publicity purposes in connection with the Giveaway, without any compensation or other liability or obligation.

2. GIVEAWAY PERIOD

The Giveaway will begin at 11:00 a.m. Central Standard Time (“CST”) on May 7, 2023 and will end at 3:30 p.m. CST on May 7, 2023 (the “Giveaway Period”) after which time the Giveaway will be closed and no further entries will be accepted. Conexus retains the right in its sole discretion to suspend or change for any reason, the start or end dates of the Giveaway, or to modify, suspend or cancel the Giveaway is whole or in part for any reason.

All giveaway entries must be received before the end of the Giveaway Period. Conexus assumes no responsibility and will not be liable for entries that are not received before the end of the Giveaway or entries that are incomplete, lost, misdirected, illegible or otherwise irregular for whatever reason, including, without limitation, due to branch hours, branch emergency closures.

3. HOW TO ENTER

Individuals may enter the Giveaway by visiting the Conexus Street Team on site at the Rider Rally at Mosaic Stadium and completing the entry ballot information. No entries will be accepted by any other means. Each entry is subject to verification by Conexus or its representatives. In the event of multiple entries by the same individual, Conexus will, at its sole discretion, determine the first eligible entry for purposes of the Giveaway and other multiple entries will be disqualified. All entries become the sole property of Conexus and none will be returned for any reason.

4. PRIZES AND PRIZE TERMS

Prizes:

Three $100 gift cards to the Rider Store

• Entrants are eligible to win one $100 gift card

• Three winners will be selected

Prize terms:

• All prizes must be accepted as awarded

In order to claim a prize, a winning entrant must provide Conexus with their:

• Name,

• Phone number, and

• Email

The Prize Winner will be contacted within 2 weeks of the Giveaway Period.

All Prizes will be forwarded to the Prize Winner within 2 weeks from the date when the Prize Winner has signed and provided Conexus with the required Giveaway Waiver.

Prizes which are shipped to the Prize Winner will not be insured and Conexus shall not assume any liability for lost, damaged or misdirected prizes.

No substitution or transfer of any Prize is allowed.

5. PRIZE WINNER SELECTION

Prize Winner will be selected at the end of the Giveaway Period. The Prize Winner will be selected by a random computer-generated draw from all eligible Giveaway entries received during the Giveaway Period.

The selected entrant will be notified by phone or email (using the contact information provided at time of entering the Giveaway) within the two (2) weeks after the Giveaway Period. The selected entrant must respond to Conexus within seven (7) days of notification with the signed Eligibility, Waiver and Release form, failing which the entrant will be deemed to have forfeited the opportunity to win and will be disqualified and a new entrant will be chosen. Conexus is not responsible for the failure for any reason whatsoever of a selected entrant to receive notification from Conexus or for Conexus to fail to receive a selected entrant’s response.

6. PRIZE ACCEPTANCE/DECLARATION AND RELEASE

In order to claim a Prize, selected entrants must sign an unmodified form of Eligibility, Waiver and Release that confirms the selected entrant’s:

• eligibility for the Giveaway

• acceptance and compliance with these Giveaway Rules

• acceptance of the Prize as offered

• consent to Conexus and its agents to use, print, publish, broadcast, distribute and otherwise use or re-use the selected entrant’s name, photo and city/town of residence for advertising or publicity purposes in connection with the Giveaway, without any compensation or other liability or obligation.

7. RELEASE OF CONEXUS BY ENTRANTS

By participating in the Giveaway, each entrant agrees:

• to be bound by the Giveaway Rules and all decisions of Conexus

• to release and hold harmless Conexus and its subsidiaries and their directors, officers, employees and agents, including advertising and promotion agencies, from any losses, claims, causes of action or any liability of any kind arising or to arise in connection with or resulting from participation in the Giveaway, acceptance of any prize and any use by Conexus of the entrant’s name, residence and photo in connection with their acceptance, participation in or use of any prize.

8. LIMITATION OF LIABILITY

Conexus shall not be responsible for incorrect or inaccurate transcription or registration of Giveaway entry information, technical malfunctions, lost/delayed data transmission, omission, interruption, deletion, defect, faulty, incomplete, incomprehensible, or erased computer or network transmissions, line failures of any telephone network, failure of computer equipment, software, inability to access any online service or web site, inability to submit the online survey, or any other error or malfunction, or any injury or damage to entrant’s or any other person’s computer related to or resulting from participation or downloading any materials in this Giveaway.

9. PRIVACY/USE OF PERSONAL INFORMATION

All information submitted by Giveaway entrants will be used for Giveaway purposes only, and Conexus will not contact entrants with the exception of notifying the selected entrants by telephone or email. The entrant’s personal information will be protected in a manner that is consistent with Conexus’ Privacy Code available at: www.conexus.ca/Privacy

10. SUSPENSION OR CANCELLATION

Conexus reserves the right, in its sole discretion, to modify, suspend or cancel the Giveaway is whole or in part for any reason, at any time, for any reason without prior notice.

11. LAW AND RULES

These are the official Giveaway Rules. Conexus will be the sole judge and decision maker regarding any dispute as to the application or interpretation of the Giveaway Rules or any other aspect of the Giveaway and the determination by Conexus shall be final. The Giveaway is subject to and will be construed in accordance with applicable federal, provincial and municipal laws. The Giveaway Rules are subject to change without notice in order to comply with any applicable federal, provincial and municipal laws or the policy of any other entity having jurisdiction over Conexus.

12. CONDUCT OF ENTRANT

By participating in the Giveaway, each entrant agrees to be bound by the Giveaway Rules. Entrant further agrees to be bound by the decisions of Conexus, which shall be final and binding in all respects.

All personal and other information supplied to Conexus for the purpose of the Giveaway must be truthful, complete, accurate and not misleading.
