Fraud Alert: Scam Calls and Texts Impersonating Conexus

We want to alert our members and the public about an increase in fraudulent phone calls and text messages claiming to be from Conexus. These scams attempt to trick individuals into providing personal or financial information.

What You Need to Know

• Fraudsters are making recorded calls that appear to come from “CONEXUS,” instructing recipients to press a number (e.g., "Press 5") to receive a code.

• Scam text messages may also attempt to mimic Conexus, asking members to click a link or provide personal details.

• These messages are not from Conexus. We will never ask you to share sensitive information, such as passwords or verification codes, over the phone or via text.

How to Stay Safe

• Do not respond to calls or texts asking for personal information.

• Do not click links in suspicious messages.

• Verify directly with us—If you receive a questionable call or message, contact Conexus using the number on our official website.

• Report the scam—If you’ve received a suspicious communication and have not provided any personal information, please forward it to security@conexus.ca so we can take action.

• If you have shared any information, contact us immediately so we can help secure your account.
