Apply today to join “Cohort 5” of the AGTECH ACCELERATOR

[Regina, SK, Nov. 17, 2025] - Agtech entrepreneurs ready to accelerate their startups can now apply for Cultivator powered by Conexus’ AGTECH ACCELERATOR program.

The AGTECH ACCELERATOR brings agriculture and technology together to accelerate the growth of Canadian agtech startups solving global problems. This accelerator is built with founders and farmers as the foundation. The startups selected for “Cohort 5” of the intensive program will take part in a rapidly paced three-month accelerator with virtual and in-person components, including a finale at western Canada’s largest outdoor farm expo, Ag in Motion 2026.

Cultivator’s Director Laura Mock explains the accelerator’s benefits for founders and the larger agricultural sector.

“The AGTECH ACCELERATOR is a leading Canadian agtech program with growing recognition on the global stage,” says Mock. “What makes the accelerator so powerful is how it brings together founders, farmers and industry partners to validate innovation and engage technology testers for commercial-level adoption. Cultivator also showcases the program’s founders to investors looking to deploy capital to help these startups grow.”

“All of these immersive connections within Canada’s agricultural sector create value on multiple fronts for founders, producers, the ag ecosystem and our economy.”

The information and connections founders need

The AGTECH ACCELERATOR program stands out by providing unparalleled opportunities for founders to connect directly with influential players in the agricultural sector. Those selected to be a part of the AGTECH ACCELERATOR’s yearly cohort will benefit from a three-month virtual and in-person accelerator program that provides Canadian and UK agtech startups with access to capital, programming, connections and mentorship needed to help them scale. Founders will gain exclusive mentorship sessions from industry leaders, benefit from introductions to top agtech investors, learn directly from farmers and much more.

Jill Sharko, co-founder of Cohort 4 company AgScouter, emphasizes the program’s importance for agtech startups: “The AGTECH ACCELERATOR program not only connected me with incredible mentors and valuable contacts in the Saskatchewan agtech community, but it also gave me the tools and knowledge to make a real impact on our business.”
