Cultivator powered by Conexus proudly unveiled Cohort 4 of the AGTECH ACCELERATOR on the Launch Pad Stage during “Innovation Day” at Canada’s Farm Show.

“Based in Saskatchewan and connected globally, this program leverages the natural strengths of Saskatchewan’s agricultural ecosystems to help founders build out their agriculture innovation in a way that will add value to producers,” explains Director of Cultivator Laura Mock. “Founders and farmers are at the heart of everything we do with the accelerator."

To date, Cultivator has supported 47 agtech companies over three cohorts of this program. These companies have:

  • Raised $119.2 million in private capital

  • Generated $72.1 million in revenue

  • Received $44.4 million in public funding

  • Created 193 new jobs

Jill Sharko and Kara Annand, co-founders of Cohort 4 company AgScouter, look forward to seeing what this opportunity means for their company and its customers.

“This program will help connect AgScouter with agtech experts and expand our network,” says Sharko. “We are excited to showcase what our company has done and what we have planned for customers looking to digitize their field management.”

Through a global partnership with Innovate UK, the UK’s national innovation agency, five UK-based agtech companies will join Cohort 4 as part of the Innovate UK Global Incubator Programme to further accelerate the cultivation of agtech innovation on a global scale.
